Driving Africa's Sustainable Finance Revolution

Eline is a senior advisor for TeraVert, working at the intersection of sustainable finance, institutional investment and international development. She brings deep experience of engaging with institutional investors within the lens of responsible investment, to help channel long-term capital into sustainable, investable opportunities across Africa. She has held senior roles across finance and non-profit organizations, currently as Programme Director at IFSWF (International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds), following 6 years as Director of EMEA at the UNPRI (Principles for Responsible Investment).

Earlier in her career, she worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London as a Client Portfolio Manager and as a Business Development Manager at Impact Hub Accra.

Eline has completed a Master's in African Studies (Leiden University), during which she focused on entrepreneurial ecosystems and local inclusive development. This included a research placement at Impact Hub Accra, Ghana and an accompanying thesis evaluating the development of start-up hubs across sub-Saharan Africa. At the PRI, she engaged with a range of Africa-focused investors and in addition to her work at Tera Vert, she also acts as an advisor to KIRAR, a carbon project developer with ongoing regenerative agriculture activities in northern Nigeria.

Eline brings strategic clarity to complex investment and sustainability questions, connects people and opportunities across sectors, and engages effectively with senior institutional stakeholders through thoughtful challenge, sound judgement and evidence-led insight.
